Welcome to Info4Derby Welcome to Info4Schools Welcome to HI4EM Welcome to Derby City Council’s JSNA

The site provides information about the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of Derby; including information such as ethnicity, religion, adult educational attainment, employment / unemployment, health, deprivation and crime. It aims to provide the broadest spectrum of information available at the smallest possible geographical level depending upon the sensitivity of the information.

The information is available via maps, graphs, tables and profiles to illustrate an area's characteristics and, wherever possible, how these have changed over time.

Info4Derby is freely available and can be used by anyone without registering to use the site. However, if your organisation is a part of the Derby City and Neighbourhood Partnership, please register to use the site, using your work/organisation e-mail address.

If you require guidance on how to use the site, please visit our help page

Hi4em - Housing Intelligence for the East Midlands - is supported by East Midlands Councils.

We aim to source, display and map a wide range of data relating to housing markets and private sector housing conditions in the region. The data provided supports Local Authorities working to make homes decent and more energy efficient, particularly for vulnerable households and supports regional and sub-regional assessments of housing market conditions.

The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is something we have to produce and publish each year. The main goal of a JSNA is to accurately assess the health needs of a local population in order to improve the physical and mental health and well-being of individuals and communities. It is produced and implemented by Derby City Council and NHS Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) through the Health and Wellbeing Boards and we have a joint duty to prepare the JSNA.

The JSNA for 2009/10 and 2011/12 are available to download below. The most recent version has updates on areas such as housing and homelessness and child health and wellbeing. Work is currently underway to produce a new JSNA which will include the needs of NHS Southern Derbyshire CCG as well as Derby City Council, to enable us to look at areas that could be integrated or work better together as partners.

Looking to the future we will have a more interactive, web-based solution to visualise the JSNA.

Info4Schools is a subscription service for schools in Derby. It will provide the broadest spectrum of information available at the smallest possible geographical level depending upon the sensitivity of the information. The information is available securely via maps, graphs and tables to illustrate the area's characteristics and, wherever possible, how these have changed over time.
